JuzNumber. 01, 02, 03. Surah Al-Baqarah is the Longest Surah of the Quran, mainly revealed in Madina. It is the answer to prayer taught by Allah in Surah Fatiha. Al Baqarah contains the longest verse of the Qur'an (2:282)known as ayat e Dain. And also the greatest verse of the Quran referred to as Ayat-ul-Kursi (2:255).
Thelongest surah of the Holy Quran is Surah Baqarah. Al-Baqarah means The Cow . It is the second surah of the Quran. Verse 255 of Surah Baqarah is known as Ayat ul Kursi. Surah Kausar The shortest surah of the Quran is Surah KAusar. It was revealed as a messahe for the betterment of humans. Though it is a small surah with just three verses

Thefour Quls surahs are among the shortest surahs in the entire Quran. These surahs are called 4 Kuls because they start with "Qul". These 4 Quls Surahs are: Surah Ikhlas. Surah Al-Kafirun. Surah Nas. Surah Falaq. These four surahs are between 4-6 verses (ayats) long. Since they are small, they are relatively easy to read and memorize.

Objectives · To memorize three important and frequently recited short chapters ( surahs) of the Quran: Surah al-Ikhlaas , Surah al-Falaq and Surah an-Naas. · To learn their translation and verse by verse explanation in simple language. · To study the explanation of verses based on al-Tafseer al-Muyassar written by a group of Quran scholars.
TheQuran has covered the birth of Maryam in Surah Al Imran's verse number 35 and 36. In Tafsir ibn Kathir (one of Quran's widely recognized interpretations), Ismail ibn Kathir has elaborated on these two verses (through narrations from others) and provided information about Maryam's parents.
